The jewelry at Shimmerlings is called "Treasure" as we truly believe it to be. Each is created but once, never to be recreated again!

Our jewelry artist Jeane-Margherite designs and creates all of our treasures, and they are an extenstion of her expressive personality, grafted from her bohemian background in all its faceted, electic and expressive style. Although she works extensively with gemstones and their metaphysical properites, it is in metals and found objects that she currently shines.

She states that... "It is nature and life that needs to be expressed in our current course, and my work reflects that belief. My ability is to create the extraordinary from the common place. The practice of working with natural fortune, vintage findings and reclaimed magic, as well as up-cycled items, and found objects added to gemstones and precious metals is not simply to lessen the load on our earth, but the price tag of art jewelry on the consumer as well....This is where my current path has lead me, and I am having an incredible go at it!

Creating what I envision, holding that creation in my hands, then to have that same treasure magically express another's individual personality ~ it is simply amazing!
